Rick Matsuda

Senior Pastor

Rick has been at Victory Fellowship since its inception in 1998. He served as Associate Pastor at that time, becoming the Senior Pastor in 2005. Rick graduated from Cal State Northridge with a degree in Physical Education with a teaching credential. He also attended Fuller Theological Seminary. Rick loves spending time with his wife Wendy and sons Micah, Jared and Riley. He enjoys the people that attend and visit Victory and the food that is available at every service.

Dan Wong

Associate Pastor

Dan came to Victory after a 5 year search for an Associate Pastor. He has been the Associate Pastor since 2009. Dan graduated from UCLA with a degree in Economics, then received a Master of Divinity degree from Talbot School of Theology. Dan loves being with his family, wife Laura and son Braden. He feels that the people at Victory is what makes it standout as a church.

Earl Pyo

Associate Pastor of Worship

Earl started his ministry at Victory in 2011. He is in the process of completing degrees at both UCLA and The Master's Seminary. Earl and his wife Mia love how kind and accepting the Victory family has been toward them. He also loves that Victory is continually growing to be a God-honoring, God-worshiping church.

Wendy Matsuda, Janice Ng & Kris Tanaka

Co-Directors of Children's Ministry

Wendy is part of the group that helped to establish Victory Fellowship. She has been directing the Children's Ministry since 2005. Wendy also teaches the toddlers and co-leads the Quest small group. She loves the busy life of raising her three boys, Micah, Jared and Riley, and her husband Rick.

Janice has been busy directing our Kid's Club since it began in 2009. She is also a teacher for our Sunday school. Janice enjoys being with her family, husband Jeff and children Tiffany and Cory.

Kris has been co-directing the Children's Ministry since 2006. She also co-leads the M.D.'s small group with her husband Mike. Kris and Mike are passionate about raising their three boys, Kaison, Jonas and Treydan.

Wendy, Janice and Kris enjoy being around the Victory family. They also feel that the warm, friendly atmosphere is one of the outstanding features of the church.

Keri Kaba-Dien

Youth Director

Keri has been attending Victory since 1998, and has been directing the Youth Ministry since 2006. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Communications. She has also studied design through the Massey University study abroad program, UCLA and Santa Monica College. She enjoys serving in the Youth Ministry with her husband Jerod, as well as serving in ministries outside the church like OMF International and Faith in Christ Ministries. She loves that Victory exhibits and demonstrates the grace of God. Keri also likes that Victory has what she calls "the best snack table in the South Bay".

Vicki Nishioka

Office Manager

Vicki has been a part of the Victory family since the church opened in 1998. She has been serving as the Administrative Assistant since 2000. She came to California via the state of Washington where she graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in marketing. She also serves at Victory as a worship leader and can be seen on stage with her husband Brandon. Vicki enjoys the fellowship after service and snacking on "the best church refreshments ever".
